Why Invest in Sport and Performance Psychology...

Simone Biles said "I say put mental health first. Because if you don't then you are not going to enjoy your sport and you're not going to succeed as much as you want to."

Picture this, your goal is to build a house. So you go to your local lumbar yard/home supplies store and you pick up all the supplies to start the process. You go to your lot, pour the concrete, and work to add the framing, plumbing, electrical, etc...with no plan. In this process, you sacrifice physically, mentally, and monetarily. While you may start with enthusiastiasm, the process eventually wears you down. Obstacles continue to arise, and there is no clear direction to navigate the outcome. 

 

Do you think you will lose motivation? When it is all said an done, will that house be the best it can be?

Will it be able to stand the test of time and natural disasters? 

 

OR..... 

 

Would it be better to invest in an architect and engineer to survey the land, layout the home, test the loads to make sure it is braced properly? Then take the time to draw up a blueprint that can guide the process of completion? Would this house stand the test of time better?

What to Expect in Our Time Together....

For individuals engaging in mental performance coaching for the first time, the initial sessions will primarily focus on gathering information to help us understand your specific goals and identify any obstacles you’ve encountered in pursuing those objectives. Following this, we will work with you to develop an action plan aimed at addressing these challenges and achieving your goals. Just as you invest effort into physically preparing your body for peak performance, clients should also be prepared to dedicate time and energy to actively train their minds for optimal performance.

All information shared with your coach remains confidential and is protected by rigorous standards of counselor-client confidentiality.

The pathway through these sessions will differ for each client. Regardless of your unique journey, we are here to support you in striving for excellence and embracing the joy of the process.
